“Wish you were gay” è il nuovo singolo di Billie Eilish – Ascolta il brano

L’attesa per il nuovo album è quasi finita per i fan di Billie Eilish, così poche ore fa sul suo canale YouTube e sugli account social è stato pubblicato il nuovo singolo Wish you were gay (“Vorrei che tu fossi gay”). Il singolo anticipa infatti l’album When we all fall asleep, where do we go?, in uscita il prossimo 29 marzo.

La giovane cantante statunitense è salita alla ribalta nel 2016 con il singolo Ocean Eyes, diventato virale su Spotify e seguito da numerose hit. Tuttavia, al momento l’artista indie pop ha pubblicato soltanto un EP e le aspettative per l’album di debutto sono alte.

Il testo, che trovate in fondo all’articolo, sembra parlare di un amore non corrisposto e della speranza che tale disinteresse sia a causa dell’orientamento sessuale dell’altra persona, che si rivelerebbe una piccola consolazione.
